DX7 RHODES PIANO
One of the most famous sounds to come from the Yamaha DX7 was the "Rhodes Piano". Despite it's ubiquitous nature, it is a difficult sound to track down (it wasn't provided with the DX7 as standard, until the DX7II, where it became known as "Fulltines".

SOLID BASS
The Yamaha DX100 contains a preset called "Solid Bass". This is a very commonly used bass sound in dance/techno genres.
I have authentically recreated this sound for the DX7. Click on the link below, to save a bank of DX7 patches to your PC. The Solid Bass sound is patch 32 in the bank.
